Join our team as a Hood Cleaner In this role, you'll be responsible for degreasing kitchen systems, including hoods, rails, ductwork, filters, and fans. No two ways about it - this job is greasy. But it's essential and important work. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing their work with a strong attention to detail and understands the importance of maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.


Specifically, you will:

  • Work at clients’ sites during the night shift, generally starting about 6:00 or 7:00 PM, Sunday through Thursdays.

  • Travel about 50% of the time to client sites, which includes overnight stays. (Typically, technicians alternate between working locally and traveling every other week.)

  • Operate on-site equipment, including set up and take down for each job.

  • Uphold company standards with minimal supervision.

  • Properly handle and manage equipment, tools, and supplies.

  • Accurately complete reporting and required documentation.

  • Arrive at scheduled job sites on time, comply with safety policies, and stay focused.

  • Work in a dirty environment…you will get greasy and dirty.

  • Comfortable climbing ladders and able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Take pride in the results of simple work.

  • Communicate with clients and coworkers.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following education, skills and experiences:

  • Possess high school diploma or GED.

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Pass pre-employment background and substance abuse screening upon hire and throughout employment.

  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools more than 50lbs.

  • Ability to work in sometimes difficult positions like climbing ladders, high lift equipment, working in crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
