Job Overview:
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities, encouraging skill development, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with IDD in a residential group home setting, helping with daily activities and fostering independence.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and support the development of life skills, social skills, and community involvement.
  • Monitor and document the progress of individuals, including behavior and health changes.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Build positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other team members.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older and passionate about making a difference.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and be eligible to become a company driver.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and computer usage.
  • Successfully pass a level II background check.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a positive attitude to excel in a dynamic environment.
