Job DescriptionJob Description

Eka Healthcare is looking for a CT Technologist to join our team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed. 

Summary

  • Department: Computerized Tomography CT
  • Shift timings:  07:00 - 15:30 Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours)
  • Per Week: 40 Hours
Roles & Responsibilities
  • ​Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
  • Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
  • Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
  • Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.
  • Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
  • Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.

Minimum Qualifications

BLS, WI State X-ray License, ARRT

Rotating Shifts: 0700-1530 OR 0800-1630

Every 3rd weekend; EOH - rotating with staff

Call: none; GE CT experience needed - GE scanner experience preferred

May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
