THE ROLE
Under the direction and supervision of the Recreation Program Manager, oversees instruction of cheer program, leads and plans cheer practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child. Plans and implements warm ups, skills, drills and appropriately demonstrates whenever possible. Performs regular safety checks and ensures activities are safe at all times. Helps to set up and break down stations and equipment in an organized manner. Arrives 15 minutes before first scheduled class of the day to familiarize instructors with the lesson plan and teaching stations.


SCHEDULE

Mondays & Wednesdays, August 12 – October 7, 2024

4:30pm – 6:30pm; Additional training hours may be required

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
What does it take to succeed in this role? We’re looking for a motivated individual with strong time management skills and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Cheerleading and should enjoy working with children/have the ability to effectively communicate with both children and adults. Must be at least 18 years of age.
