Purpose of the Position:

As the Procurement and Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing the warehouse operations for infrastructure equipment and materials. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company has access to high-quality resources while optimizing costs and maintaining efficient inventory management.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:
Source, negotiate, and procure materials, tools, and services from suppliers/vendors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and favorable terms.
Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved procurement practices.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and construction teams, to understand their material needs and align procurement activities accordingly.
Warehouse Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including receiving, storage, and dispatching.
Develop and implement inventory management procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory levels, transactions, and product movements using appropriate inventory management systems.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
Logistics and Distribution:
Coordinate with logistics partners to arrange transportation and delivery of equipment to project sites or company locations.
Monitor the efficiency and performance of logistics providers, addressing any issues or concerns as they arise.
Implement measures to streamline the distribution process and improve overall logistics efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
Establish quality control measures to ensure that all equipment and materials meet company standards and specifications.
Conduct regular quality inspections of incoming and outgoing inventory to identify any defects or discrepancies.
Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.


Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required

Proven experience in procurement, warehouse management, or logistics, preferably in the telecom or technology industry.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in procurement and warehouse management

Knowledge of Construction Services preferred.

Excellent leadership and management skills.

Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.

Desire to succeed and learn new skills.


Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

Professional level experience using Microsoft office suite & Outlook.

Proficiency in inventory management software

Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat (pdf files), digital photographs (jpeg files).

Familiar with databases and the process of uploading and downloading of data


Education and Experience Preferred

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field a plus but not required.
