We offer an integrated payment solution to manage and process a high volume of payments flowing through the software at a retail or wholesale level.

Job Summary:

As a Merchant Services Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by assisting our software sales team in selling merchant services. Leveraging your expertise in payment processing solutions, you will identify opportunities to optimize our revenue per customer and provide tailored solutions to meet our customer's unique business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Consultative Selling:
    • Engage with prospective clients to understand their payment processing requirements and business objectives.
    • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services and upselling premium solutions.
    • Present customized proposals and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our merchant services offerings.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and maximize retention.
    • Proactively communicate product updates, industry trends, and best practices to clients to ensure their continued success.
    • Develop and implement strategies to maximize customer retention and minimize churn, fostering long-term partnerships with clients.
    • Foster strong processing relationships with merchants to ensure high adoption and low churn.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the merchant services sector.
    • Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to management regarding sales performance, pipeline development, and market dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, including credit card terminals, point-of-sale systems, and online payment gateways.
  • Proven track record of success in merchant services sales or related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
