Position: Marketing and Operations Associate

Kernel Labs is on the hunt for a Marketing and Operations Associate, offering a full-time, remote opportunity to be an integral part of our dynamic and evolving team. This role is designed for those who are passionate about diving deep into marketing strategies while maintaining a keen eye on operational efficiencies. As a startup, we value versatility and the ability to wear multiple hats, making this position ideal for individuals eager to engage in the multifaceted world of tech innovation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Marketing Work (1/3 of time):

    • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
    • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform marketing approaches and product development.
    • Create TikTok and Instagram posts to increase visibility of applications.
    • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives.

  • Operational Work (2/3 of time):

    • Use our operations spreadsheet and email notifications to ensure that operation items are completed on time.
    • Familiarity with accounting and financial systems is preferred but not required.
    • Working on proposals, applying for rebates and grants, and tracking installations for an energy start-up.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
  • Analytical abilities to interpret market data and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective collaboration across teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities and unexpected challenges.
Salary and Benefits
  • Annual Salary: $50,000

  • Work Model: Fully remote, offering flexibility and the chance to work from anywhere. Location in Seattle is preferred.
