Physical Therapist Assistant Career Opportunity:
We are currently hiring a motivated Part Time Physical Therapy Assistant. Home health services will be provided to residents located in Marion and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
  • Work directly with patients on therapeutic exercises designed to help regain full mobility, strengthen their muscles, and improve coordination, following plan of care specifically written for individual patient.
  • Observe and reassess patients’ progress.
  • Coordinate treatment plan with patient, family and other team members.
  • Collaborate with PT and other disciplines to ensure best patient outcomes
  • Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
  • Ensure patients receive personalized care
  • Provide training for using assistive devices, such as crutches, canes, or prosthetics.
  • Record and document patient care services
Qualifications
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant licensure as required by state regulations.
  • CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
  • One year+ experience in home health setting/rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills
  • Valid driver’s licensed, valid automobile insurance, reliable transportation
  • Valid TB test (or have one placed in our office).
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends available
License/Certification:
  • CPR Certification (Required)
  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
