Summary


Technicians are responsible to the Lead Technician for:


  • Performing the work requested on the Work Order form in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance manual and the procedures set forth in the Repair Station Manual (RSM).
  • Notifying their respective Shop Manager of any out of the ordinary damage noted during any phase of the maintenance process.
  • Ordering the correct parts as noted in the illustrated parts listing of the appropriate manual.
  • Correctly documenting all maintenance forms in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Repair Station Manual as well as the individual instructions for each form found in the Forms Manual.
  • Maintaining their respective tools and work area in a clean, orderly manner.
  • Using the correct data and ensuring that it is maintained in good condition while in their possession.
  • Verifying calibration status on all precision tools and test equipment prior to use, and when finding a tool out of calibration, notifying their respective Shop Manager.
  • Only performing work in accordance with approved data.
  • Accepting ownership for the quality of their work. 
  • Assisting in the development and training of new technicians.
  • Ensuring that any work being performed by a non-licensed person is monitored and their work signed off on by a qualified, licensed individual


Job Requirements


  • Airframe and Powerplant Certifications preferred
  • Minimum 3 years heavy and/or line maintenance experience in Avionics
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at professional working proficiency.
  • Provide own tools as required by a company tool list.
  • Understand and follow maintenance manuals and IPCs.
  • Undergo and pass a criminal background check resulting in the issuance of a badge from the Sanford Airport Authority 
  • Travel to other locations as needed
  • PTF Modification experience is preferred
  • B737, B757, or A321 experience preferred
