Opportunity Summary:
Castaway is looking for exceptional line cooks to join our culinary team. This is your chance to work with one of the country's top chefs and be part of a team that delivers amazing food, cocktails, and an incredible view of the valley. Castaway Burbank is the top eatery in Los Angeles and is committed to providing guests with a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Pay: $18 - $23 / hour

Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and cook meals according to BEOs, established recipes, and standards.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, up to par with Health Department standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1 year previous experience as a prep or line cook is required
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Ability to execute high-volume, large-scale event orders
- Positive attitude, team player, and able to work collaboratively with others
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including most weekends and nights
