CDLI Overview

Position Summary

The Lending internship will focus on the evaluation of policies within the department. The internship requires a commitment of 15 – 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Research compliance related to key areas of lending.
  • Evaluate current policies and exceptions to the guidelines permitted in order to distribute loans.
  • Learn more about AHC grants and evaluate the variance between cost estimates and bid results and present findings.
  • Communicate with team members and other departments to coordinate work, gather information, and develop final work products.
  • Conducts basic office functions as needed, such as data entry, file management, and customer service.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Rising junior or senior in an undergrad program in Economics, Statistics, or General Business Management Audit.
  • Commitment to the mission, vision, and goals of CDLI.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and remotely as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and desire to work on varying planning projects.
