Sunset Hills Subaru is a family-owned and operated car dealership seeking a full-time experienced Automotive Biller/Title Clerk. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, reliable as well as a dependable team player.

 

Job Duties
  • Title Processing: Handle all aspects of title processing and applications for vehicles and maintaining strict compliance with all Titling laws and filing requirements

  • Documentation Management: Ensure completeness and accuracy of trade payoffs and gather necessary documentation for obtaining free and clear title

  • Contract Verification: Review car deal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Lender Submissions: Submit customers' contracts along with required documentation to lenders and file the Notice of Lien with the State of Missouri

  • Sales Tax and Registration: Process customers' sales tax payments and complete vehicle registrations when necessary

  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to the billing process

  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain multiple logs for accurate information (sales, work in process, pending title)

  • Posting Processing:  Responsible for proper costing of all vehicles sold, calculating profits, set up receivables/liabilities and calculate sales commissions

  • Funding Process:  Verify all funds have been collected (bank funding, customer deposits)

  • Reconciling Schedules:  Verify on a weekly basis that schedules are clean and accurate, investigate and correct any problems found

  • Privacy Regulations:  Maintain a high level of privacy and confidentiality

  • Additional Responsibilities: Fulfill any other duties assigned by the management

 

Qualifications
  • Automotive Experience: Minimum of 2+ years experience in costing and billing automotive deals is required. Automotive title handling experience preferred.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to effectively identify and solve challenges related to the billing process

  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Organizational Abilities: Highly organized with an eye for detail

  • Deadline-Oriented: Capable of meeting established deadlines consistently

  • We ask that Applicants are willing to submit to a pre-employment background check. and have a clean and valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
