Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Confer with clients by telephone, email, or in-person to promptly answer and resolve payroll processing questions.
  • Assist clients with client data maintenance, setup, and configuration changes.
  • Review timesheets, work charts, wage computations, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
  • Compute wages and deductions and enter data into computers.
  • Record employee information, such as deductions, exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records and ensure that all employees are appropriately classified.
  • Assist in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.).
  • Implement garnishment orders and manage ongoing maintenance.
  • Responsible for printing and packaging client paperwork and employee pay stubs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Ensure the client's payrolls align with the client's benefits, onboarding, and other related HR components.
Pay Range: $22.50-$24/hour

Education and Experience:
  • 7 years of experience. Processing 3rd party payroll a plus
  • Strong Excel experience is a must
  • Strong Customer Service Skills both written and verbal. Payroll Processors are the point of contact for clients and spend a great deal of time on the phone
  • Multi-System usage including HRIS systems, Excel, and Microsoft programs
  • Ability to meet high demand clients expectations and requests. 
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues and find better ways to process complex clients

Work Location: Onsite
This is a full-time position.  Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST. Overtime and weekends may be required during necessary critical periods to meet deadlines or when Doyle HCM is dealing with unpredictable increases in workload.
