Summer Internships

Western Technologies Inc., a consulting engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and special inspection services throughout the southwest currently has a full-time employment opportunity available. Our Northern Arizona Unit has full-time, part-time and summer intern positions available for our construction materials inspection and testing department in our Flagstaff, Prescott and Cottonwood locations. Duties will include inspection, sampling and testing of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt and other similar materials in the field and in the laboratory. For those with interest in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting or water/wastewater testing, these positions may lead to opportunities to learn and help out in those departments also. Good written communication and math skills as well as a strong attention to detail is required. Must be a team player, have a good driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
