- Job Location: Fairfield, NJ
- Role: Lead member of Lathe Department
- Duties:
- Programming and setting up 2-axis and multi-axis CNC lathe machines independently
- Collaborating with Quality Control department to produce in-process inspection documents
- Performing 1st article inspection of parts from new set-up and teaching operators inspection process
- Reading blueprints and understanding geometric tolerances
- Operating automated bar feeder systems
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds
- Maintenance of Doosan and Haas equipment
- Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in programming CNC Lathe machines
- Proficiency in programming using Fusion 360 or Mastercam software
- Basic PC knowledge (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Physical capabilities to lift and move heavy objects
- High school diploma required, college or trade school degree beneficial
- Mechanical inspection skills, experience with bench top tooling, CMM helpful
- Reliable source of transportation
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
