We are seeking a skilled, experienced CNC Technician to join our Tramar team in Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, setup, and operation, as well as a commitment to quality and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in a growing and dynamic industry. We offer fully pay healthcare, competitive wages and a Monday to Friday schedule.


· Pre-purchase equipment inspections to assess condition of machine, level of effort and cost to refurbish and advise on the market value.

· Disassembly and loading of equipment, both on site and off.

· Troubleshooting of equipment at our Novi and Warren Michigan locations and sometimes at customer's shop, post-sale.

· Perform customer demonstrations of machines to assist in the sales process, to include writing programs and creating a video to demonstrate the condition of the machine for remote customers.

· Demonstrating the machines under power to customers upon request.

· Prioritizing machine repair as well as finding parts or procedures from manufacturers to repair the equipment.

· Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

· Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.

· Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

· Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

· Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve production processes and efficiency.


Requirements:

· Have a thorough understanding of CNC controls. Fanuc, Fadal, Mitsubishi, Okuma, Haas, Heidenheim and Siemens

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation

· Proficiency in G-code programming and CAD/CAM software

· Ability to read electrical, mechanical and ladder schematics.

· Ability to understand GD&T

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

· Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Spanish speaking a plus
