Competitive Pay: Earn $18-20 per hour, depending on your experience and skills. Baking experience a plus.
Part Time Schedule: Friday - Monday at 28 hours each week

What you will do
As a Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing food orders, using your culinary skills to whip up mouthwatering dishes, and ensuring the kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine.

- Cooking Excellence: With at least 1+ years of cooking/restaurant experience, you'll bring your culinary expertise to ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality, consistently meeting our menu and customer standards.
- Building Connections: Your friendly and personable nature will help you develop a strong rapport with our residents and staff, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
- Kitchen Preparation: Be a master organizer as you set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, handle, store, and rotate products properly, and collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Following Guidelines: You'll follow the instructions of our Chef, using proper techniques and presentation for all dishes, and adhering to food handling and storage procedures, as per company and state regulations.
- Safety First: We prioritize safety and sanitation, and you'll play a key role in complying with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations and standards.
- Team Player: Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional approach while communicating and working with your fellow team members.
What you will need
- Age: Due to the location being a youth facility, all employees must be 21+ years old.
- Physical Prowess: You'll be on your feet throughout the shift, occasionally sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as well as frequently washing hands and engaging in bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and limiting.
- Thriving in a Fast-Paced Environment: Our kitchen can get hot and busy, but your ability to work in a fast-paced environment will ensure success.
- Safety Conscious: Knowledge and practice of workplace safety policies, including handling chemicals according to MSDS sheets and labels.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You're a resourceful problem solver, able to handle a variety of situations with ease.
- Customer Service: Interacting and responding to questions from managers, clients, customers, and guests comes naturally to you.
- Background Check: You must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
- Certifications: ServSafe certification is preferred.
