GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Applications Developer Level III shall perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. They will assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integrations, and testing tools. Troubleshooting, remediating, and optimizing any and all SharePoint based issues, while also working with engineering requirements and providing strategic recommendations to management. The ideal candidate will possess an inherent interest in learning the latest technology and have the ability and motivation to learn quickly while solving engineering problems collaboratively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery:

  • - Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software
  • - Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
  • - Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
  • - Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software
  • - Evaluates effectiveness
  • - Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
  • - Consults with project teams and end-users to identify application requirements
  • - Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
  • - Acts as team leader on projects. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of others on the development team
  • - Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • -Certified ServiceNow Administrator certification
  • 5+ years of experience using ServiceNow
  • - 8+ years of experience with relational database (i.e. SQL Server)
  • - 5+ years of experience consulting clients on potential ServiceNow (or SharePoint Solutions), client presentations, translating business requirements into technical requirements.
  • - 5+ years of experience with System testing and User Acceptance Testing
  • - Public Trust Clearance
  • - Experience leading a full-cycle migration of production SharePoint environment to newer version (i.e. SharePoint 2013 to 2016) preferred
  • - Microsoft Certified System Engineer (SharePoint 2013 or newer) preferred
