Job Summary:

Augmentjobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Strategy to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance the company's financial performance and competitive positioning. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing critical insights and analysis that inform strategic decisions and long-term planning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support corporate strategy initiatives, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and financial forecasting.

  • Scenario Planning: Develop and evaluate financial scenarios and models to support strategic decision-making, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and business expansion.

  • Business Case Development: Create comprehensive business cases for strategic initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and return on investment (ROI) projections.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the financial performance of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership and recommending adjustments as needed.

  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, threats, and opportunities, and provide insights that inform strategic decisions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with key stakeholders, including senior executives, department heads, and external partners, to align corporate strategy with financial goals.

  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management, summarizing findings, recommendations, and the financial implications of strategic initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA is preferred.

  • Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate strategy, or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Financial Modeling: Expertise in financial modeling and scenario analysis, with the ability to develop complex financial models that support strategic decision-making.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

  • Project Management: Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Analytical Tools: Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC).

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, building strong relationships with colleagues across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or CFA: Advanced degree or certification is highly desirable.

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a relevant industry (e.g., technology, finance, or consulting).

  • Advanced Analytical Tools: Familiarity with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) is a plus.
