Job Summary: The Nuclear Medicine Technician is responsible for the operation of the Nuclear Lab, including testing equipment, educating patients and families regarding the procedures, and performing the procedures in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage nuclear medicine testing equipment.
  • Educate patients and families on nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring they understand the process.
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and standards.

Required Skills: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Education:

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

Certifications and Licenses:

  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist)
  • NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technologist)

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)
