Job Title: Sales Trader

Job Summary: The Sales Trader supports the trading desk by executing trades, analyzing market data, and providing valuable insights to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute buy and sell orders for clients and the firm's portfolio.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with trading regulations and internal policies.
  • Monitor and analyze financial markets, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and currencies.
  • Provide market updates and insights to clients and senior traders.
  • Maintain and build relationships with institutional and retail clients.
  • Understand clients' needs and provide tailored trading solutions and recommendations.
  • Assess and manage risk exposure related to trades and investments.
  • Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with risk policies.
  • Prepare trade reports, performance analyses, and other documentation as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of trades and market activities.
  • Work closely with senior traders, research analysts, and sales teams to develop and execute trading strategies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and trading instruments.
  • Proficiency in trading platforms, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Series 7, CFA) may be preferred.
