DIGITAL VIDEO AND GRAPHICS COORDINATOR @ ACDI

The Digital Video and Graphics Coordinator uses visual design or video to communicate an idea, concept, or story. You are incredibly creative but should be collaborative in your approach because you often work with business teams and the marketing department to develop a workable design.


You are agile at brainstorming, and coming up with custom graphics that transmit ideas across digital platforms. You are deadline-driven, organized, and detail-obsessed while having top-notch interpersonal and communication skills but also a self-starter, able to work independently from a group.


We are looking for a gifted digital video and graphics coordinator who can create highly engaging complex animation and video for various media, including smartphones, tablets, and the web. You have high-end digital skills and are an expert with interactive media software, which could include graphic design and video editing. While a degree is preferred, a portfolio of work can show the range of skills you have to be successful in the job.


As a Digital Video and Graphics Coordinator, you will be responsible for working hand in hand with the Marketing team, aiding with the creation of assets, bringing them to life, and delivering high-quality and innovative motion graphic content that seamlessly integrates with our media platforms.


This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process, from conceptualization to client amends.


DIGITAL VIDEO AND GRAPHICS COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Distribute and promote video content: Uploading videos to appropriate platforms like social media, YouTube, or the company website, and potentially implementing marketing strategies to promote them.

  • Conceptualize and develop video content: This involves brainstorming ideas, writing scripts, storyboarding, and creating shot lists aligned with marketing campaigns or brand messaging.

  • Work with others to understand the project scope and objectives.

  • Produce graphic design elements: This could involve creating logos, illustrations, social media graphics, presentations, infographics, or other visual components for various marketing materials.

  • Filming and shooting video footage: This may involve operating cameras, recording sound, or collaborating with videographers to capture necessary visuals.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.

  • Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process.

  • Stay updated on design trends: Keeping up-to-date with the latest design trends and tools to ensure their work remains fresh and relevant.

  • Maintains a complete understanding of and adhere to all ACDI policies, procedures, and processes

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred. A strong portfolio of work will be considered.

  • Familiarity with Google and Zoho applications sets you apart

  • Strong professional communication skills (via phone, email, and in-person)

  • Suggested Software Proficiency - Perhaps the most important software for this role is to understand the Adobe suite of products.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds

  • Ability to travel as needed or/and fly on a commercial airliner if needed, subject to change based on business needs.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

  • This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
