Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist

A privately-owned, independent Audiology practice in Stanwood, WA is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to grow our team. We have been helping our community since 2019, understanding the impact hearing loss can have on one’s quality of life, and prioritizing building personal relationships with our patients and listening to their concerns. Our goal is to make every visit to our practice a positive and comfortable experience, and so, we are passionate about providing the best hearing healthcare technology available. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work independently as well as in a team environment. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and events as needed.
The Hearing Care Provider will be responsible for hearing evaluations for the adult population, fittings, follow-up care, as well as counseling and educating the patient to find the best solution to treat their hearing loss.
Main Job Functions:
- Provides excellent patient service and maintains good public relations,
- Conducts diagnostic comprehensive hearing evaluations,
- Executes a treatment plan through excellent counseling and education,
- Recommends and fits proper hearing devices based on patient’s needs,
- Assists in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, reporting, etc.
- Participates in marketing and public outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, senior living events, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality of all business and patient information,
- Adheres to company policies and procedures,
- Performs ear wax removal,
- Counsels on tinnitus therapy
You will bring:
- Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology OR
- Active WA Dispensing license or eligible for licensure.
- Strong sales skills, problem solving skills,
- Interpersonal and persuasive communication skills,
- Self-starter, team player, positive energy,
- Passionate and organized.
