Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography. The ideal candidate must possess a current BLS certification and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in Mammography. 13 week contract.

Key Requirements:

  • Official documentation of at least 200 completed mammography exams in the last 24 months, signed by leadership.
  • 15 Breast specific CEUs (Continuing Education Units) within the last 3 years.
  • 8 hours of documented digital training.
  • 8 hours of documented 3D/tomosynthesis training.
  • Documented completion of 40 hours of mammography training.
  • Completion of initial 25 supervised mammography exams.
  • Preference for ARRT Mammography Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography studies including needle localizations and ductograms.
  • Competency in stereotactic biopsy procedures or ability to perform QC related to mammography.
  • Work autonomously with indirect supervision in designated areas.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • AART Mammography Technologist registration.
  • Competency in performing various types of mammography studies.
  • Ability to work effectively in an independent environment requiring critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Must live 50+ miles from facility
