Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Columbia Cottage in Wyomissing, PA. The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of the facility. This includes refreshing rooms, performing minor repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting regularly scheduled safety audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Room Refreshing: Ensure rooms are clean, safe, and ready for new residents by performing necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Minor Repairs: Address minor maintenance issues throughout the facility, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve maintenance problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Address any safety concerns promptly.
• Preventive Maintenance: Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment and systems within the facility.
• On-Call Duties: Be available for on-call situations to address urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety audits.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience in maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to respond to on-call situations as needed.
