Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Interior Upholstery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft interior upholstery and be able to work independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain aircraft interior upholstery, including seats, carpets, headliners, and other components

- Measure and cut materials to fit aircraft specifications

- Inspect and troubleshoot any issues with upholstery and make necessary repairs or replacements

- Work with a variety of materials, including leather, fabric, and synthetic materials

- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition

- Communicate with clients and provide updates on the progress of upholstery projects

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in aircraft interior upholstery techniques and materials

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent

- 2 years of experience in aircraft interior upholstery

- Knowledge of various materials and techniques used in aircraft interior upholstery

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus
