Company Overview:
A locally owned and nationally recognized Printing, Signage, and Marketing Services company in the PIP, Sacramento/Elk Grove, CA is looking for an experienced Digital Press/Copier Operator. Experience with Xerox digital machines and Fiery Command Workstation a plus.

Job Summary:
Our Digital Press/Copier Operator works closely with customers and our sales team, providing support with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibility Overview:
  • Produce print/copy jobs.
  • Schedule jobs by due dates indicated or as requested by management.
  • Call for machine maintenance and supplies when necessary, and notify management.
  • Operate all Digital Presses/Copiers in accordance with equipment operating procedures.
  • Perform maintenance per the guidelines on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Communicate with the other employees and/or the customer for a complete understanding of the copy order.
  • Keep the production area clean and organized.
  • Perform troubleshooting with the equipment when necessary.
  • Order and stock inventory and supplies per the direction of management.

Skills we are looking for:
  • An understanding of digital presses/copiers, their functions, and processes.
  • An aptitude for math, color theory and detail.
  • Able to apply written instructions about machine set-up and maintenance.

Skills desired, but not required:
  • Assist with job packaging as needed.
  • Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
  • Experience with PrintSmith or PrintersPlan work tickets
