We are in search of a Tax Accountant to fulfill a vital role in our accounting team. This position will involve processing tax returns in large quantity. The ideal candidate would be a mid-level associate that will take on the prescribed process of the company and grow into a senior role.


Salary: $90k-110k

Location: Southern Miami, 33157


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accurate and punctual tax filing for clients
  • Perform year-end tax planning and projections to optimize tax liabilities.
  • Develop adjusted financial statements for various business entities.
  • Manage quarterly estimated tax calculations for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
  • Consult clients on financial strategies including cash flow, timing, and budgeting.
  • Optimize data collection processes for improved operational efficiency.
  • Administer general accounting functions, supervise accounting staff, and liaise with external auditors.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
  • CPA is a plus, commensurate experience.
  • Substantial tax accounting experience, particularly within real estate or medical sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and tax software like UltraTax+.
  • Bilingualism in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Acute analytical ability with thorough documentation skills.
  • Commitment to continued education in accounting standards.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management for meeting tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
