WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Responsible for raw materials sand , stone, admixtures, haulers ( Canada & USA) Procurement activities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Responsible for Negations follow up for Raw Materials & Haulers Procurement control and follow up on PO's pricing. Manage buyers to fulfill plant needs daily needs, most have a excel advance & Power point advance
• Manage and help during the integration of Business units, systems SAP, Ariba and shared services to improve payment performance and vendor relationship
• Track & Maintain Performance KPI's to manage transaction backlog for P2P process
• Manage local agreements, ensuring that established objectives are met, and/or recommend adjustments, as required via Power BI platform
• Partner with operation, QC department and maintenance teams on planning activities track results and control pricing via excel reports and Power point presentations
• Manage all P2P transactions related to local/spot purchasing for RMX & AGG business units
• Support accounts payable on payment troubleshooting and vendor reconciliation statement of accounts, and payment terms
• Ensure working capital strategy by managing Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), PO's up today pricing and quantities and supply chain finance targets
• Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures. Identify and recommend improvements and customizations to the SAP system to ensure the system meets required business needs ( SAP advance knowledge most to have )
• Lead projects to increase automation or improve efficiencies
• Drive standardization in catalogs the procure to pay process
• Networking and linking internal, and external, stakeholders to achieve full compliance with corporate requirements, maximum coherence &execution excellence - while capturing immediate, as well as long term benefits [ie. Savings and performance] for VCNA.
• Managing a team of 2 (coach, guide, develop, check and ensures audit compliance)
• Market research, vendor relations
• Expansion Projects

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

• 3 Year, Program "Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program" - Holds, Professional Designation; Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP)
• 5 Years plus in Procurement & Supply Chain / Admixtures industry / Raw materials for RMX industry most to have
• Negotiation (capex, parts, raw materials, services across numerous external industries)
• Advance knowledge in excel, power point presentations
• Analytics, communication, decisiveness, vision, relationship management, change management, tech savvy, cross cultural, global teamwork.
• Vendor strategies
• Specialized in project management, capex procurement, heavy equipment, international logistics and RMX fleets acquisitions and global procurement
