Job DescriptionJob Description

The Sponsors office develops secure computing enclaves and integrates software into them to meet specific mission needs. The Sponsor requires a Contractor to perform software design, development, test, and deployment activities of secure enclaves and applications in commercial and government cloud platforms on networks at all security levels.

Full-stack developer who is comfortable in CentOS/RHEL and has experience implementing Open Source Software-based solutions.

Requirements

  • Current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bash scripting, python scripting. Desired skills: Java, Go
  • Extensive experience in the AWS cloud building/deploying infrastructure for systems that use EC2, Lambda and S3.
  • Experience working with a team of developers and leading the project effort.
  • Use of Infrastructure-as-code software, such as Terraform, Packer, Cloud Formation, and Ansible.
  • Maintaining tools built to automate deployment and management of AWS environments.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and Step Functions
  • Micro-services and Docker containers.
  • Publish-subscribe message broker applications such as AWS SQS/SNS, Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with managing DevOps tools and processes in support of development activities.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing immutable and ephemeral services and cloud infrastructure on networks.
  • Maintaining solutions based on infrastructure-as-code software.
  • Performing software or system development on Linux platforms.
  • Working with Linux operating systems such as CentOS or RHEL
  • Working with web servers such as Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, and Nginx.
  • Scripting languages such as shell and Python.
  • Experience with object-oriented languages and programming, such as Java.
  • Experience working with web technologies such as CSS and HTML.
  • Using version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Using build automation and continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with Hashicorp’s Packer, Terraform, or Cloud Formation.

Certifications:

  • AWS System Architecture or similar
  • Project management or similar
