Position: Radiation Therapist
Location: Waxahachie, TX
Schedule:
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Shift Length: 8 hours
- Shift Start Time: 7 AM to 3 PM
- Weekly Hours: 40 (Full-Time)
Salary:
- Minimum: $36 per hour
- Maximum: $52 per hour
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic imaging team as a Radiation Therapist, where you will perform radiation therapy procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality treatment for patients. This role requires flexibility to work across two locations based on operational needs and is integral to our patient care strategy in cancer treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiologist according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients accurately for radiation treatments.
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with all radiation, drug, and infection control policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families about the procedures and their purpose, ensuring patient comfort.
- Manage and maintain documentation and medical imaging records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment planning.
Qualifications:
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle both scheduled and emergency cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
