Employment Type: Contract - 6 months (probability of extension)Summary:
  • We are seeking a well-qualified full stack .NET Core/Angular developer (Programmer 4/PR4) consultant for 40 hours a week to develop and maintain public-facing and internal information systems and advanced data processing applications.
  • In the process, you'll have an opportunity to work with nationally known transportation and IT experts to deliver projects that improve transportation for all Ohioans.
Specific responsibilities for this position include:
  • Analyzing and designing enhancements, developing programs, and/or implementing fixes to production systems;
  • Designing applications to functional and technical programming standards;
  • Develop system specifications and interfaces;
  • Developing application designs in support of system specifications and interfaces;
  • Working with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements; and,
  • Determining time estimates and schedules for assigned work and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate and take direction from the supporting resources across business and/or functional lines
  • Possess excellent communication skills; both oral and written skills including
  • Strong meeting and work session skills
  • Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate proven experience in troubleshooting issues
REQUIRED SKILLS: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study with 10+ years professional experienceRequired Technologies:
  • .NET Core, Entity Framework, C#
  • Angular2 experience highly preferred
  • HTML, CSS, modern Javascript (ES5+), Typescript, Bootstrap
  • Proficient in SQL (Structured Query Language), with preference for familiarity with T-SQL and SQL Server
  • Version control systems (TFS, Git)
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
  • Python 3 experience or a willingness to learn is highly desired
