Summary (Major Purpose of the Role): Inventory control/count parts/items as required

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Count items as per scheduling methods (A – monthly; B – bi-monthly; C-annually)
  • Perform count as requested by supervisor and others; perform negative counts; perform follow up counts
  • Continually contribute to departmental and companywide improvements
  • Cycle Count and dispose of obsolete materials as requested
  • Misc. duties assigned by Plant Controller

Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of personal computing including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • AX & SAP knowledge, including inventory control & cycle counting
  • May be required to lift/maneuver up to 50-70 lbs. occasionally, with mechanical or human assistance

Reporting Relationships and Supervision:

  • This position works independently under the supervision of the plant controller or his designee. Most areas of responsibility are reviewed daily based on inventory needs.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • One year experience with counting inventory, preferred
