Food Runner

We are looking to add a Food Runner to our Mill Room and Birdwood Grill teams at the Boar's Head Resort As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for facilitating collaboration between our kitchen and wait staff, setting tables, and delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables. Some essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as a liaison between the front of house and back of house helping both teams work effectively.
• Communicate with the cooks and servers to identify what items on the line are ready to go out to guests.
• Present prepared food to guests by taking it to their tables and maintaining the presentation as the chef intended.
• Resolve any issues with the food upon delivery by communicating with the culinary staff/table server/supervisor as appropriate.
• Maintain 4 Diamond Service Expectations while interacting with guests.
• Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.

In order to be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

• Full service restaurant experience is desirable.
• Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous.
• Solid communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Task-driven individual
