Summary Senior XR Radiological Technologist for Urology Procedure Center, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Under the guidance of the technical supervisor, this ARRT certified, California-licensed technologist executes radiologic procedures within designated domains with a blend of proficiency and autonomy. Operating at a level of expertise that mitigates the necessity for constant oversight, the technologist adeptly conducts imaging procedures across diverse patient demographics encompassing emergent, inpatient, and outpatient scenarios. Diagnostic endeavors encompass a spectrum of basic radiographic examinations employing both fixed and portable imaging apparatuses in versatile settings including Outpatient/Inpatient, OR/Hybrid, ER, fluoro, and Endoscopy suites.

Diligently performing an array of radiographic examinations, the technologist seamlessly processes images via various archival systems, upholding a commitment to delivering high-caliber images to PACS. Integral to the department's ethos of continuous improvement, the technologist actively engages in performance enhancement initiatives while embodying a standard of excellence in patient service. Meticulously adhering to patient identification protocols and infection control measures, the technologist ensures a seamless, safe, and hygienic procedural environment.

Endowed with ARRT, CRT, and California fluoroscopy licensure, this role mandates a steadfast commitment to professional development, necessitating the accrual of appropriate continuing education credits. Upholding institutional and departmental policies and procedures is foundational to the role, underscoring a culture of compliance and best practice.

For new hires, a period of acclimatization ensues, during which observation and assistance in procedures precede the acquisition of requisite licenses. A proactive pursuit of licensure milestones within the probationary period underscores the dynamic nature of this role. Flexibility in scheduling, inclusive of weekday, weekend, and holiday call duties, underscores the technologist's adaptability to evolving departmental needs.

Per diem incumbents uphold competency and eligibility benchmarks through regular engagement, maintaining equipment and procedural proficiencies. Remunerated at a competitive rate commensurate with experience, this role rewards expertise and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT Licensure or ARRT-approved equivalent.
  • CRT Licensure.
  • Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
  • Willingness to assist at any Medical Center Location.
  • Proficiency in related Radiology systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks autonomously.
  • Efficient time management skills.
