WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a mid-level experienced Content Coordinator to join our marketing agency that specializes in providing services to the construction and commercial real estate industry. As a member of the Marketing and Public Relations team, in addition to the job duties listed below, you will be responsible for content creation, PR efforts such as press releases, social media strategy and execution, nurturing client relationships, and overall marketing activities.

 

This position is tasked with providing a forward-thinking, high-level strategy for content efforts, whether it is through digital marketing or PR activities for numerous clients. The strongest candidates are coordinated, creative, proactive digital marketers with copywriting and social media experience. This person is critical in driving an increase in social engagement, promoting positive brand perception, reporting, cross-department collaboration, and providing a best-in-class experience that reflects each client's brand voice. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, edit, and publish daily content that engages the audience and fosters a community
  • Be instrumental in the creation of social media strategies with clients
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, social media metrics, etc. to export and analyze data for quarterly reporting and performance tracking with analytics
  • Identify new opportunities to drive results and improve performance
  • Optimize existing company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of social and website content
  • Ensure the brand stays relevant and active within trending topics
  • Utilize scheduling platform and social monitoring tools to continue to optimize performance
  • Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions
  • Assist in the public relations efforts for Small Giants and our clients, including but limited to:
    • research and information gathering;
    • writing, editing, and distributing press releases;
    • blogs and white papers;
    • pitching stories for clients to media contacts;
    • coordinating with media contacts on scheduling interviews;
    • tracking any mentions of our clients in online and print publications;
    • industry award submittals;
    • sourcing and pitching speaking opportunities; as well as other miscellaneous PR tasks

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, data analytics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of social media experience creating the strategy, content calendars, execution, and reporting/analytics of results
  • The desire to be in a fast-paced B2B environment, interacting with clients daily
  • Industry and agency experience is a plus but not required
