Edovate Learning Corp. is currently looking for a PDF developer that will be responsible for the co-design and editing of PDF material, collaborating in these efforts with the curriculum development team.

Candidate must have, or be willing to get, their own Adobe InDesign license.

This position starts in April 2024 and will go through approximately December 2024.


Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize Adobe InDesign to develop and edit learning materials and content
  • Collaborate with the Instructional Design team to ensure alignment of content with project goals
  • Adhere to weekly assignments and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with team members and provide project updates as needed
Requirements:

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in instructional design, educational technology, or curriculum development preferred.
  • Strong educational background, preferably in social studies or a related field.
  • Previous experience in educational content development or lesson planning.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of printing processes and requirements for textbook production.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
  • Proven experience in using Adobe InDesign for document layout and formatting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with Google Docs and other collaborative tools.
  • Basic knowledge of printing processes and requirements for textbook production.
  • Knowledge of sound course design principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Zoom, MS Office software, Google productivity applications, project management systems (ClickUp), and other relevant software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment and work independently, exercising discretion and sound judgment
  • Ability to work collegially and effectively with individual faculty and staff, both independently and in a team environment

Pay Range: $20-$27 per hour, based on qualifications and experience


*Offer will be contingent upon signing an Edovate contract.
