Job Description:
As the Epoxy Flooring General Foreman, you will oversee, manage, and help with installations of all aspects of epoxy flooring projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A General Foreman will manage multiple foreman’s and jobs at one time and be available to jump in and help with problem solving. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in epoxy flooring, and the ability to manage a team of skilled workers.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute/Supervise/Install daily operations of epoxy flooring projects, ensuring all work is performed to company standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the epoxy flooring crew, including assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed on the job site.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Manage project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Train and mentor crew members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the course of the project.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and material logs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in epoxy flooring installation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of epoxy flooring materials, manufacturers, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
