We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team. The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems that power our applicaFons. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, solid understanding of distributed systems, and experience with cloud technologies.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-funcFonal teams to gather requirements, architect soluFons, and implement features that meet business needs.
OpFmize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring smooth operaFon under high load.
Implement best pracFces for code quality, tesFng, and deployment automaFon.
Conduct code reviews, provide construcFve feedback, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of conFnuous learning and improvement.
Troubleshoot and debug producFon issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement soluFons to prevent recurrence.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluaFng new tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and producFvity.
Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and manage backend services in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless integraFon between frontend and backend systems.
Communicate effecFvely with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide project updates, status reports, and technical recommendaFons.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Go.
Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and RESTful API design principles.
Experience with cloud pla\orms and services and containerizaFon technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effecFve soluFons.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and conFnuous integraFon/conFnuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Excellent communicaFon skills, with the ability to collaborate effecFvely with cross-funcFonal teams and stakeholders.
Proven track record of delivering scalable and reliable backend soluFons in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment.
Ability to adapt to changing prioriFes, mulFtask effecFvely, and thrive in a dynamic, collaboraFve work environment
