ENTRY-LEVEL STAFF ACCOUNTANT - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

GRT Rubber Technologies LLC ("GRT"), a leading national provider of rubber belting and other industrial rubber products, is seeking a degreed accountant to join our team in Paragould, AR on a full-time basis. This Staff Accounting role is an entry level position with no experience required and offers candidates the opportunity to gain experience in multiple areas of accounting and manufacturing operations, including General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Cost Analysis, Inventory Control, and Special Projects, among others. Staff Accountant Job Purpose:

Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, and preparing financial statements.


Staff Accountant Job Duties:

  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
  • Generating financial reports for management or regulatory purposes.
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Providing financial insights to management to support decision-making.
  • Track Fixed Assets and Capital spending on various projects.
Credit Monitoring within Accounts Receivable:
  • Application of daily A/R transactions.
  • Investigate credit worthiness of new customers.
  • Maintain pending customer return and warranty files.
  • Communicate with aging accounts on collecting past due balances.
Compliance and Regulation:
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations (such as GAAP or IFRS).
  • Assisting with audits by providing documentation and explanations to auditors.
  • Helping to prepare S&U tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and analysis.
  • Monitoring actual performance against budgets and forecasts and providing variance analysis.
Process Improvement:
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implementing improvements to accounting procedures or systems.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
  • Assisting with special projects, such as system implementations or process changes.
  • Responding to ad hoc requests for financial information or analysis from management.

Skills/Qualifications:
