Provide critical support and assistance to the Controller by preparing monthly journal entries, conducting account analyses, and performing bank reconciliations for our New Jersey and Maryland locations. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Report and file sales tax
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts
  • Support account analysis activities
  • Reconcile fixed assets
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting as needed
Experience
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Job Related Work Experience:
  • 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or
  • 2-4 years of experience with an Associate's degree
Other Requirements:
  1. Strong organizational abilities
  2. Excellent attention to detail
  3. Good communication skills
  4. Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level)
