JEVS Care at Home is a non-profit organization that provides non-medical homecare services to those in need throughout Pennsylvania. It is our mission to deliver industry leading in-home care through recruiting, empowering and investing in the growth of our Caregivers.


We currently have several part-time openings available for day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Northampton, and Schnecksville. Ideal candidates will have a passion for helping others, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in their homes with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), light housekeeping, food shopping, meal preparation, medication reminders and laundry
  • Offer companionship and supervision
  • Report to Client Care Manager regarding direction of care, client updates, concerns, and scheduling

  • Benefits: Depending on the amount of hours worked each week, benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, and other employment perks.
  • Bonus Opportunities: Referral Bonus and $525 Sign-on bonus 
  • Job Training: Paid training provided as needed for specific client care, including CPR/AED training and Dementia Capable Care training 
  • Care Support: You will have a Client Care Manager available for support and questions regarding your client(s)
  • 24/7 On-call support


Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must have professional or personal experience with providing personal care, companionship and activities of daily living with adults. 
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with assigned Client Care Manager
  • Must complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program successfully
  • Must pass background check/clearances as required by state regulations
