Summary:

Develops and maintains sales relationships with all levels/sizes of customers. Sells products and services to existing and new customers in the field. May be entrusted to handle the largest accounts and/or the most complex products. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of customer requirements per specifications.
  • Adjusts and/or coordinates complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely order maintenance.
  • Develops sales relationships to sell products or services
  • Making cold calls to sales leads
  • Taking calls from prospective customers
  • Maintaining documentation of sales (invoices, client contracts etc..)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills/Knowledge

  • Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's drilling products and services, customer requirements and competitive market.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven negotiating skills.
  • Industry knowledge of company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales.
  • A familiarity of CRM tools is desirable.

Education

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s Degree is considered a plus.

Experience

  • 3+ years of oilfield services experience
  • 5+ years selling/business development to drilling equipment or service companies directly.
  • Valid Drivers License and safe driving record
