Make a difference as a Behavior Therapist

As a new Behavior Therapist at Rise Up for Autism in Tinley Park, IL, you can expect to work closely with individuals with autism, implementing behavior intervention programs and collecting data on progress. Patience, empathy, and an understanding of behavioral principles are essential for implementing successful intervention strategies. Experience with data collection and analysis is beneficial, as you will be responsible for tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation purposes and familiarity with behavioral therapy software tools are advantageous. Must have:

  • stand for long intervals,
  • run or chase for short periods of time
  • proficiency in English
  • High School diploma or equivalent
