Job DescriptionJob Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a pivotal role in the production and machining of components for specialized handling equipment. Leveraging your expertise in CNC programming and machining techniques, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment to create precision parts that meet our clients' specifications. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and specifications.- Selecting the appropriate tools, materials, and cutting parameters to optimize machining processes and achieve desired outcomes.- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.- Conducting thorough quality inspections to verify the accuracy and dimensional integrity of machined parts, making adjustments as needed to meet quality standards.- Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to optimize machining processes and streamline production workflows.- Adhering to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.**Qualifications:**- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in precision machining and programming.- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.- Hands-on experience operating CNC mills, lathes, and other machining centers, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.- Familiarity with a variety of machining materials, including steel, aluminum, and alloys.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.- Prior experience working with large-scale steel mill equipment and specialized handling machinery is a plus.**Benefits:**- Competitive salary commensurate with experience and skills.- Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement
