Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Requires a basic understanding of building materials, systems, code requirements, and construction methods.
  2. Possesses an understanding of drafting principles to work efficiently and accurately to produce construction documents.
  3. Able to meet deadlines and commitments and function as part of a team.
  4. Detail oriented and able to produce a high quality and quantity of work on time.
  5. Able to be flexible and adapt in response to changing work conditions and demands.
  6. Approaches the position and work in a serious, conscientious and mature manner.
  7. Strong working knowledge and experience using Revit.
  8. Basic knowledge of SketchUp and Rhino is desired.
  9. Experience with energy modeling software is desired
  10. Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software is desired.

1. 5-year B-Arch, or BA/BS with M-Arch.

2. Currently working towards licensure through participation in NCARB's AXP or actively engaged in taking the ARE.

3. 2 - 4 years working experience is desired.
