Job Description

Cloud Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Technical Lead to join the Cloud Platform Team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency across the organization.

The candidate should be a proven leader with a track record of successfully implementing cloud-based systems to help secure and manage an enterprise cloud platform. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Amazon Web Services with a focus on security and compliance

Research and recommend new solutions based on the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices

Provide technical leadership and guidance to fellow team members

Aid in implementation of monitoring and collection of metrics to enhance visibility & implement alerting to enhance service reliability

Participate in an agile delivery process

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience

Proven experience as a Cloud Technical Lead or similar role

Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services including ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and DynamoDB (AWS Certification Preferred)

Proficiency in cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to build solutions as an individual and as a leader of others

Required proficiency in Golang and Python

Preferred experience with DBT, PostgreSQL, and GitLab CI/CD
