Position Summary:

 

CCM is seeking a Corporate Operations Analyst responsible for analyzing all of the Corporate Operation functions and providing KPIs for the Department—additional responsibility for assisting in processing requisition forms and issuing purchase orders for approved requisitions. Under the supervision of the Director of Procurement, this role requires skills in data mining and creating timely and accurate KPIs.  The Corporate Operations Analyst will act as the analytics business partner, supporting the different departments within Corporate Operations, and will liaise with the headquarters and field offices. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with exceptional organization skills, and strong attention to detail. This position requires advanced Microsoft Excel experience and PowerPoint skills.  Additionally, the right candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepares and analyzes corporate budgets and forecasts 
  • Analyzes monthly results, explaining actual to-budget variances 
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of quarterly and year-end reporting
  • Supports the daily and monthly production of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Evolve financial reporting, dashboards, and processes to meet the needs of the business. 
  • Assist in Processing Purchase Requisition Forms and providing POs for all approved requisitions 
  • Work closely with the Data Analytics team to develop a best-in-class tool to identify variances and anomalies in costs, and to investigate, analyze and remediate quickly
  • Build strong interdepartmental relationships and maintain open lines of communication 
  • Ensure compliance with CCM Policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in finance or accounting 
  • 3 years relevant experience. Transportation/logistics background is a plus 
  • Analytical and creative thinker with the ability to synthesize data into written proposals
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills should include financial and operational modeling experience, pivot tables, data mining, charting, etc. 
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills to support presentations to senior management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Independent thinker – must be self-motivated, energetic, and organized
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
  • Interpersonal skills and success in collaborating, team building, and project management
