Hybrid Three days onsite at Annapolis, MD. Two days remote.

Duration 1 year + 4 year extension (not to exceed 2,040 hours per year).

In person interviews required at Annapolis, MD. The proposed resource(s) will be required to take a written exam to assess technical expertise, while on-site.

Selected candidates should be able to undergo BGC/Fingerprinting before the start.


Requirement-

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
  • Participation in all aspects of DW and ETL process design, creation, and specification for components.
  • Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to ensure data warehouse architecture development and utilization.


Resource(s) possessing the following preferred skills, experience, and capabilities are required:

  1. Database and analytical skills.
  2. Ability to query source data.
  3. Knowledge and experience with ETL tools, Visual Studio, and transmitting and reconstructing Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Structured Query Language (SQL).
  4. Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, and the ability to automate repetitive tasks in Azure.
  5. Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills; as well as the ability to make good judgment and work with both technical and business personnel.
  6. Experience with: BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques. Dimensional modeling, STAR schema design, Snow fake schema design, slowly changing dimensions, confirmed dimensions.
  7. Advanced experience with technologies such as SQL Server 2016 or above, as well as with Azure data factory, SSIS and stored procedures.
  8. High proficiency in dimensional modeling techniques and their applications Azure’s architecture in order to structure optimized data workflows.
