Job Title: SDET Engineer (HMI UI/UX)

Location: Plano, TX

Duration /Term: 12+ months - Contract

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5 years of UI/UX software Test experience.
  • Experience working with JIRA and JIRA tools like Zephyr
  • Good understanding of protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, A2B, USB.
  • Experience using Automotive tools like Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANape.
  • Experience using Automotive Hardware like Vector VN box and peak CAN hardware.
  • Experience in designing simple, elegant APIs with a strong emphasis on clarity, scalability, flexibility, versioning, and error handling.
  • Master's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Experience with embedded HMI development (React Native, Android).
  • Design and develop UI frameworks for infotainment systems:
  • Animation APIs
  • Widget APIs
  • System windowing management
  • Theming solutions
  • Develop reusable modules and UI components using SOLID design principles.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation on software design, architecture, and API usage.
  • Create proof of concepts for next generation infotainment systems.
  • Optimize performance by profiling, analyzing, and improving the application code and system integration to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Participate in system design, documentation, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of software components.
  • Work in an agile team of software developers, test engineers, technical product managers and leads.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
